Gorgeous Joanie

We had a fun project to work on while we were at the lake this year...Joanie's graduation pictures! It was so much fun! She got all gussied up and we went out around Nevis Minnesota and took some nature shots. She is a natural beauty with lots of sparkle! These are just a few of the shots that I took on my camera, but there are some gorgeous shots on two other cameras with a total of 4 photographers (Myself, LaVonne, Lydia and Brittany). We've decided that this should be an annual lake tradition to take photos of the graduating senior!

A new (smart) car!

My brother Pat came by to visit us from Country Chev the other day... he had a set of keys that he tossed to Will and said to "go drive this around the block"... It's a smart car and Will fits in like a glove! Give Pat a call if you want to take it for a test drive!

Summer Blog Header

Summer is finally here and the humidity and thunder showers are proof! I've been busy working at Majirs, packing for the lake and making new blog headers...all really important stuff! This header was created using digital artwork from a little site called Little Dreamer Designs. They have a blog and they give some of this stuff away for free to some of you digital scrappers out there! Happy Summer!

Buffalo Triathlon

On Sunday morning, Will and Jack put on their orange shirts (for visibility) and packed up their bikes, swim goggles and running shoes to head on over to sturgis park for the Buffalo Triathlon. It was amazing to watch how competitive they have become! The day was really cold (49) and misty with the threat of rain, but that did not hinder the Elliott boys! The race consists of a 1/4 mile swim, 12 mile bike and 3 mile run right here in Buffalo. Here is Jack getting "tatooed" with his number. Will gets marked

A little joke before the swim. The boys were in the 10th wave and there were 25 total waves with 1500 competitors!
And they are off! Brrr...that water was cold!

Jack was the first one out of the water!

Followed closely by Will! Here is the transition area, can you see the two orange shirts? All three events start and end in the transition area!Jack made a quick change into his bike gear and is all smiles!

Will on the bike!

They finished the 12 miles on the bike together!

Buffalo Triathlon run photos

Will is out of the transition area first for the run.
Jack is out close to Will!

Will makes up a lot of time on the run and comes in about 2 minutes ahead of Jack! Jack holding on during the run.
2 Happy boys at the end of the race! Jack swam like a maniac and was the 7th fastest swimmer in the entire race!!YAY Jack!

It's the last day of school!

On the last day of school, Will decided to gussy up a little bit! He looked fine in his polka dotted tie and sideburns.

Jack decided to gussy up also and was inspired by his Unkle Jimmy...aka Junior! He had to do a little stretching before he got on the bus! I wonder if Jack was in charge of any of the P.E. classes (from 1978!)

YAY SUMMER!

Oh Mexico

If you need a really good vacation with the girls, I highly recommend Casa Cosmos in Puerto Vallarta! We celebrated Liz entering her 50th year! Lots of water ballet, margaritas and other shenanigans! What a blast! ...
